About the Vienna Center for Experimental Economics

The Vienna Center for Experimental Economics (VCEE) is a core facility at the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Statistics. We use experimental approaches to address fundamental questions about human behavior, markets, and institutions. The VCEE creates a thriving environment to exchange ideas, discuss and conduct research in experimental economics, through vibrant seminars, international collaborations, and state-of-art lab facilities. We leverage the strenghts of combining cutting-edge experimental tools and techniques with various data sources to advance knowledge and inform policy.

Our mission is to take experimental economics to the next level:

  • Enable research in experimental economics
  • Teach, train, advise, discuss, reflect on how to do research
  • Do research, apply experimental economics
